What is the Refer and Earn Program?

Refer and earn is an exclusive referral program to connect with Fabhotels. The Referral Program lets you refer and invite friends to stay at FabHotel.

The Referred: As your friend signs up using the link, 700 Fab credits (equivalent to Rs. 700) will be added to their user account which can be used to book their future stays.

The Referrer: Once the friend you referred, signups with us and completes his/her first stay at FabHotel, we’ll credit Fab credits to your account depending on your referral level and the steps completed by referred user. These credits will be credited within 48 hours of each step completion. 

How do I know whether the friend I have referred is eligible to be referred?

Any friend who you have referred would be eligible for the referral program if they have never signed up on the FabHotels website or app using their phone number.

How can I refer FabHotels.com to my friends?

You can invite your friends to join FabHotels.com through either of the following options: 

1. Invite via E­mail:

• On the Referral page, click on the "Refer via e­mail" option
• Enter the e­mail ids of friends you wish to invite
• Click "Send Invitation"

1. Share on Social Media:
   • On the Referral page, click on the Facebook/Twitter/FB Messenger icon
   • You will be redirected to their login page
   • When you log in, the referral link appears on the page with an option to share it publically or tag/message friends individually
   • Share this link with your friends to invite them to FabHotels.com
2. Share on WhatsApp:
   • On the Referral page of your mobile site, click on the WhatsApp icon to get redirected to your WhatsApp chat page
   • Select a friend’s contact to share the link
   • And invite friends to FabHotels.com
3. Easy share link:
   • You will get a unique referral code and link, which you can share with your near & dear ones through SMS or any other sharing method
4. Contact Upload:
   • You can also refer all/selected friends in your contacts at the same time using the contact upload feature in FabHotels app

What is Fab credits?

Fab credits is FabHotels' currency that you can earn by staying with us or successfully referring users. You can use these credits for making future bookings with us. Each Fab credit is equivalent to INR 1 on our platform.

What are the requirements for generating my referral code? How can I activate my referral code?

Any user who has signed up on FabHotels website or app would need to have a verified mobile number and name in the profile for generation of the referral code.

How do I verify mobile number?

Login to your FabHotels account using your registered my mobile number. On the next screen, enter the OTP sent to your mobile number to verify your mobile number.

I don’t like my system generated referral code, how do I change it?

You can now change your referral code by yourself. Visit https://www.fabhotels.com/refer-and-earn on website or app and follow the below steps:

1. Click on ‘Personalize Your Referral Code’
2. Enter a new 6-8 characters referral code (should be unique and should not contain any special characters)
3. Confirm the change in referral code
4. Use the new code to refer your friends and family

Referral code can be changed only once. The earnings or activity from the previous referral code will still be valid and will not be lost.

What are the different levels in the refer and earn program? How do I unlock each level?

There are currently 7 levels in the referral program.

The eligibility to unlock each level depends on 3 factors: 

• No. of signups by your referred users using your referral code
• No. of bookings made by your unique referred users (Only 1 booking from each referred user would be counted for referral level upgradation)
• No. of completed stays by your unique referred users (Only 1 booking from each referred user would be counted for referral level upgradation)

By default, you will start at Level 1 and to reach Level 2 you would need to have 2 successful signups (using your referral code) from the referred friends. The detailed breakdown of eligibility for each level is given below:

How much would I earn when my friend signs up using my referral code? What are the other benefits that I will receive at each level?

As you upgrade from one level to another there are multiple benefits that will be added to your account. The details of these benefits are as below:

How much would my friend earn when he/she signs up using my referral code? 

When your friend completes their signup using your referral code, they would receive 700 Fab credits instantly which can be used in future bookings.

My friend signed up using my referral code while I was at Level 2 but I have not received full 550 Fab credits. What are the steps that my friend needs to complete for me to get full referral benefit? How do they vary at each level?

The full earnings from each successful referral depends on completion of these 3 steps: 

• Step 1: Your signs up on FabHotels website or app for the first time using your referral code
• Step 2: Your friend creates their first booking directly on FabHotels website or app
• Step 3: Your friend has completed their first stay at a FabHotels after booking directly from FabHotels website or app

The earnings at each of these steps will also vary according to your current referral level. The detailed breakdown at each level is as below:

I was an existing user of the previous referral program? What will happen to my referral code and Fab credits that I have earned using the previous referral program?

Don’t worry, nothing will be impacted. The referral code of your previous program is still valid and you can still use the Fab credits earned in the past in the same manner as before. Keep referring and keep earning!

Is there a limit on the number of referral invites I can send?

No, there is no limit on the number of friends you can refer to FabHotels.

Can I invite anyone?

Yes, you can invite any of your friends or acquaintances. However, to ensure that users don't get spammed, please ensure that you only send invites to people you are acquainted with.

How long is the referral link valid for?

Every referral link is unique and has lifetime validity.

Does Fab credits earned through referral have an expiry date?

Fab credits earned through the referral program are valid for 3 months from the date of credit.

Why did I not get Fab credits for an invite that was accepted?

Under one of the following conditions, you will not be eligible for referral bonus ­

• The person who clicked the link was already a FabHotels member
• The referred member hasn’t signed up yet on FabHotels website or app
• The referred member hasn’t booked a FabHotel yet directly through FabHotels website or app
• The referred member has booked a FabHotel directly, but hasn’t checked out yet

What do I need to do? After getting the referral link, what are the steps I need to complete to redeem the Fab credits worth Rs.500?

All you need to do is click on the referral link & land on FabHotels.com homepage, select the said hotel with check-in & check-out dates. You will get an option to apply the Fab credits with a limit of 15% of the total referral credits available in the account, on the checkout page.

Where can I see the scratch cards that I have earned from the referral program?

Login to FabHotels website or app using your registered mobile number. Click on My Profile and check the ‘Scratch Cards’ section. Here you can check the scratch cards earned by you.

What will I earn in the scratch cards?

You can earn Fab credits, FabHotels discount coupon and Free room nights in scratch cards.

Where can I see the coupons that I have earned from the referral program?

To check the coupons earned through referral program, go to Reward section on the referral page (https://www.fabhotels.com/refer-and-earn). Click on ‘Rewards Claimed’ section to see the details of the coupons and other benefits earned by you.

In addition, you will receive SMS notification on your registered mobile number each time you earn a coupon through referral program.
