FabHotel Grand Hazra Inn

Deluxe rooms are supposed to be having a few amenities like toiletries, breakfast included (assurance from fabhotel contact ms.pooja), table n chairs and clean bedlinen, fan instead of ac(which is fine with me). there was no breakfast included even after assurance from contact, toilet seat was loose n unhinged, bedlinen was unclean n had to be replaced by request, some linen had cigarette burn holes too. no toiletries except a tiny one rupee soap was provided. no bottled water but only filter water was available. good thing was the room was sunlit whole day. even a table is not provided...just a couple of chairs...which made it so hard to even spread out belongings. we had to take things out on the floor or bed..not nice to be told one thing and then given option of paying for what was promised as a package.

Upon entering the room, i was immediately met with a stench of damp sweat lingering from the cupboards and bedding. though the floor had been mopped, it remained unpleasantly sticky to walk on. a single pair of dirty slippers was left in front of the bathroom, adding to the discomfort. there was no table provided—only two chairs, which we had to repurpose along with a small movable box cabinet for our needs. the bedsheet had two large rips (7–8 inches), neatly concealed under a thick blanket. when i called reception for a replacement, they were slow to respond. after a second request, they finally sent another bedsheet, which was in slightly better condition but still had visible holes. when i questioned the staff about this, they simply stated that they had run out of new stock. despite these issues, the hotel’s location was decent, and the staff, aside from the initial unresponsiveness, were polite. one positive experience was when i accidentally left a belonging in my room—they promptly called to inform me, which i appreciated. overall, while the service had its redeeming moments, the poor maintenance and lack of basic amenities made for a disappointing stay.

Beds were good. staffs were very courteous.

Stayed one day and night as a couple. been to many hotels in kolkata but this one satisfied with the price range of 1500/night. service was good(reception guy was so helpful and professional), the room was spacious and the room was clean. cons: 1- no hot water in the shower 2- bedsheets and blankets have stains , which indicates it's high time to replace them with new ones. overall if you are looking for a good and comfortable couple friendly stay, then go for this fabhotel grand hazra. this same hotel is listed in the oyo app but at a cheaper rate, so this review doesn't apply to those rooms.

This is a beautiful hotel! it’s clean and has a lot of comfort items to make you feel at home. we’re in town for a stressful event and coming back to this room was very peaceful.
