"I recently had the pleasure of staying at fab hotel sumangal, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. The staff were incredibly attentive, always ready to assist with any request. The room was good, impeccably clean, and elegantly decorated, providing a comfortable retreat after a long day of exploring. The hotel amenities were top-notch. Overall, my experience at hotel was nothing short of exceptional, and I can't wait to return for another unforgettable stay."
Visited Oct 2024. When Fab Hotels changed my booking to this place at the last minute I was apprehensive - many of the reviews are really bad. However I was pleasantly surprised when I found the room here to be quite nice. Room and toilet were reasonably clean, Owner, receptionist and staff were pleasant and helpful. For a budget traveler it is worth considering. Very close to station ( less than 3 minutes using the half-open gate at the southern end of platform 4). From the hotel turn right and walk towards a flyover about 50 meters away - from here you can get a (shared also) auto to almost anywhere (tip : auto to Phool Baug and then to Kila Gate will cost you Rs 10 + Rs 10). Alcohol and "guests" (you know what I mean) are not permitted into the room. Pics of Deluxe Room attached. I paid approx Rs 900 per day plus tax.
Very cordial staff. Rooms could do with a better maintenance
worst hotel ever stayed, arrogant staffs, AC leaking, no discount, room tariff was higher and room was not according to the price, mt Jana yaha pe koi v, Oyo hai couples jate h, dormitory sahi h uska
The rooms are just terrible. We booked 3 deluxe rooms as per the photos provided us from fabhotel, yet we wanted to confirm before booking that rooms are the same as shown and again they convinced us that there would be no inconvenience. Even after that, rooms are way below average, not even half of the size they have shown. There is no space to keep luggage. They fool people by showing false pictures. They even gave one of our rooms to someone else before we checked in.
Worst kind of experience. The hotel is located in the old gwalior city and unhygienic around. Not suggestable.
The rooms and linen were not clean, the bathroom was very dirty with yellow marks all over. The rooms were small with no ventilation. Don't go by the photos they are not accurate.
I have booked online this hotel, and this is my worst experience when we went there, hotel manager said you have to changed room if any family came here,, i asked why,,he says i have no any room. There room was very dirty, bedsheets, pillows each and evry thing in worst conditions. if you are visiting gwalior and searching hotel rooms don't go there.
Not recommended for a stay due to poor service and unresponsive staff. I found a rat in my room, and when I informed the manager, he dismissively replied that all hotels have rats. The shower was not functioning, and the so-called deluxe room was very small and cramped. Additionally, the behavior of the Fab customer executive was pathetic when I called them around 10 PM to report these issues. Overall, the Fab service experience is a complete waste of money.
