"I am writing to express my utmost dissatisfaction and frustration regarding my recent experience at Fab Hotel Lotus 1, Surat on 18th October 2024. The level of service and cleanliness we encountered is utterly unacceptable and far below any reasonable standard, especially for a hotel that claims to offer hospitality. Here are the specific issues we encountered: 1. Upon our arrival at 2 AM, we were shocked at the complete lack of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the hotel. The rooms were in a deplorable condition—filthy, dirty, and completely unsanitary. 2. The toilets were revolting, stained with brown marks, indicating that they hadn’t been cleaned for a significant period. Despite our complaints, the receptionist refused to arrange any housekeeping, citing that no staff was available at that hour. This is a gross failure in basic hospitality services. 3. Your customer care team was equally incompetent and unhelpful, failing to provide any solution. When I requested to change my booking to a one-day stay, I was met with complete indifference and a lack of support. 4. As a senior citizen, I attempted to take photographs to document the conditions, only to face aggressive, violent, and abusive behavior from your receptionist, which is absolutely disgraceful and unacceptable. 5. This entire ordeal has caused us significant distress, and I am appalled by the deficiency in service and your company’s breach of contractual obligations. I did not stay at your hotel and will never consider staying at any Fab Hotel property in the future. 6. Given the severity of the situation, I demand an immediate full refund of the advance payment of INR 3000, which was paid for a service that was never provided. 7. I reserve the right to pursue legal action through The Consumer Forum for lack of service, harassment, and mental distress caused during this incident. Presley Coelho Jayesh Shah"

"I wish I could give a negative rating to this hotel. There is no use of booking your room here cz when you reach for checkin, you will find your rooms being allotted to some one else. The reception guy and the manager are completely unprofessional. They don't bother whether you had booked the rooms months earlier or made the payment or you have infants and patients along. They just argue with you. Don't go for this or else you will suffer. Worst hotel and worst customer care team of fabhotels."

"Worst experience ever. These guys don't allow you to checkin even after you have a confirmed booking. Customer care is also of no use. Never go to this fabhotel nidhivan or any of the properties of fab. They will first confirm your booking, then shift your hotel at the last moment and finally allot your rooms to someone else. So you pay money, devote your time, argue with them and still suffer late night to look for another option. Disgusting"

"Very pathetic. Not as per what is shown on the sight photo. Messy painted ,uncleaned rooms. Toilet bathroom is dirty with broken taps. No room service bell or intercom. Aircondition thorowing water in the room. Paint smell.. I wished I took the photos. Breakfast we added consisted only idly. No tea /coffee. Even one local water bottle was charged. If the rooms are under renovation we need to stop selling."

"I booked the stay through customer care executive. He said he will give me breakfast included in the stay - However, it wasn't done. Upon asking the receptionist confirmed it wasn't there. Secondly, the customer care executive also said "we have a dedicated parking", the same was also mentioned in the app - However, there is no parking space given and they did not even bother to help. Thirdly, thr rooms were not at all clean. Also, thr entrance of the lift does not seem to be cleaned ever. Usually, fab provided toothbrush and toothpaste. It wasn't provided. Location of the hotel is good. Staff was good. But overall, the stay was not good. The guest coming to the hotel were not good. (Hope you understand). It is okay to increase the price for the stay but fab has to maintain some standards. This is the first bad experience of Fab."

"Room wasn't clean properly. In washroom drainage wasn't working g well. While booking I choose breakfast including, but in reality the staff gave us only idli, chutney and Sambhar, that's it. No more options or hospitality. We ask foe the option, so they bluntly said it will be chargeable."

"Worst, horrible, insecurity, unpredictable, dirty, unprofessional, cheap environment & all worst disgusting hotel I have ever experienced. Owner & staff all of are cheap minded. I stayed in this hotel, when i go out for my work at market in morning the hotel owner & staff opened my room without any confirmation. They rented my room to another persons for 1-2 hours. When I get back to my room at night there was a extra used towel and water bottle kept in the bed, ash tray & match box kept on the side table of bed. No daily cleaning, bed sheets are full of spots. Also they don't even change the bed sheets after check of any room."

"Genuine feedback..and I think FAB must take this very seriously 1. Just reaching reception on our first day, receptionist asked for total amount and that was so disgusting. when asked for reason ,he mentioned ' badme guest pareshan karta hai and also fab hotel se baat karlo,hamara matter nahi hai'. That hustle at the very first day, you can imagine what coming next 2. Early check-in is chargeable irrespective of rooms available or not. I saw rooms were available but we were charged and that too u have to pay instant. 3. Now after such experience you must be thinking these guys are arrogant, must be because of rooms, rooms must of top quality. Imagine what, it was exact opposite. Rooms were dirty, stinking, bed sheets colour was pale yellow and cigarette buds lying here and there. 4. Important point: this hotel specifically was not apt for family. I have seen so many couples checking in. I understand also mentioned couple friendly but with family I didn't feel comfortable. 5. Only thing good was...they were prompt in responding back to queries like they were bring tea, water with no big delays. 6. Also hotel is situated at nearby location to station but not as per mentioned address. Address is wrong. It's 3.5 kms from station.coteect address hai, jogniya Mata temple,magdalla road, udana neher, above Mahindra showroom."

"I was initially rejected check-in because of low tarrif. I had to wait outside in the evening in an unknown location plus Hindi imposition. No one is properly answering to my query in English and after waiting for more than 30 minutes after multiple times of calling to the customer care number I was cleared to check-in after extra payment initiated from your end. Firstly when you know the hotel person will not allow customer to check in with low tarrif why are you making a digital attempt to push customers opt for the room giving offers? And is it my mistake? I had suffered badly for at least one hour before this problem got solved. Please, for the customer's self respect and also a responsible application offering premium service to a valued customer don't repeat this. And the room at nidhivan is not up to the mark. No dustbin, no ac remote provided to adjust temperatures, stained bedsheets. Please understand I am a hardcore travel enthusiast and I had to suffer like this. I did not like the service."

"When I was reach there they gave first room its was a house of cockroaches they play on bad and very huge numbers then I complained they gave other room in this flush not working in bathroom so I complained again they gave me third room and there no ac worked no shower worked in morning I asked them for tub for bath when I came out of room the temperature of gallery was more cool then room, I stayed because I already paid and it was too late to change the hotel overall it the last option of the Surat where I want to stay again if there no space on footpath"

"Service of the staff was just exceptional - from the manager to the restaurant staff to the reception, everyone went out of their way to be helpful and attentive. Small gestures such as helping with calling a Doctor, or checking on needs of our children showed a genuine interest from the staff in being helpful. For example, the food had not been prepared as expected and the staff immediately replaced the item with an alternate without anything."

"Not trustworthy. Scam We booked a room 2 months in advance, they asked for full payment to lock the room. 3 days before our booking they sent us an email that we've been "upgraded". They sent us to a very low grade hotel with no amenities and the manager said, "what difference does the hotel make". He then told us to make a new booking that is x5 times more expensive."
