Akshardham, a Hindu shrine complex cum spiritual-cultural centre, is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Delhi. Dedicated to the Indian yogi and spiritual guru Swaminarayan, this place opened in 2005 and ever since, it has been visited by hordes of visitors from all over India and beyond owing to its exceptional architecture and colossal size. For meeting their accommodation needs, a number of luxury and budget hotels have come up in the areas surrounding this shrine, over the years. These hotels near Akshardham offer easy access to several other sightseeing places in Central Delhi and are thus preferred by tourists in large numbers. A lot of business travellers can also book a stay in the neighbourhood as it has major commercial centres like ITO and Laxmi Nagar just a short drive away. Furthermore, the direct connectivity of the area through Delhi Metro and its proximity to the city’s major transit hubs and sporting venues makes it a suitable choice for all kinds of visitors.
Within the Akshardham complex is a souvenir shop, where travellers can find religious and spiritual books and gifts. Most of the popular malls of East Delhi and Noida are around 10-20 minutes’ drive from the complex including Unity One Mall, Cross River Mall, East Delhi Mall, V3S Mall, DLF Mall of India, Gardens Galleria Mall and The Great India Place. Connaught Place (9.8 km) and Janpath (10.1 km) are also a must-visit for avid shoppers looking for a blend of branded and street shopping. For dining, there is a food court inside the complex called Premvati Ahargruh that serves vegetarian delights. There’s a lot to see within Akshardham itself, starting from its elaborate welcome gates to the main temple. The three exhibition halls – Sahajanand Darshan (Hall of Values), Neelkanth Darshan (IMAX film) and Sanskruti Darshan (cultural boat ride), are a major highlight. The Garden of India, Abhishek Mandap, Yogi Hraday Kamal (Lotus Garden), Narayan Sarovar and Sahaj Anand (water show) further make Akshardham complex a perfect place to spend a day out with friends or family members. The rooms were spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully designed, with all the amenities you could need for a relaxing stay. I particularly appreciated the cozy beds and the attention to detail in the room decor, which added a personal touch.
Nice hospitality, good bed, cooperative staff, good social sense, food was fine ,it was a beautiful ambience around , location was good ,things were taken care at short notice , overall a beautiful stay, would surely recommend.
I highly recommend Fab Floyd Hotel to anyone looking for exceptional hospitality and a memorable stay. I cant wait to return on my next trip.
Had a wonderful stay here . Rooms were decent with balcony on the front side.
Received a wonderful service. The personal attention, the great breakfast was good.Great experience !!
The Management and Staff were extremely friendly. efficient and pro active. The room was fabulous and we also loved the breakfast. Our stay exceeded our expectations and we will return if back
Food was delicious and portion really big. The owner was very kind, welcoming and helpfull. He helped us to reach hotel, find ATM.
Hospitality, cleanliness, wide spread of lip smacking breakfast, amenities, ever smiling & helpful staff.
I had a very disappointing experience during my stay at this hotel. The room lacked basic privacy the curtains were either missing or not properly placed, leaving the room exposed. Since it was on the ground floor, anyone from outside could easily see inside, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Safety was also a major concern. There were no visible security features like CCTV near the room, and the locks didnt feel reliable. I didnt feel secure staying there. The AC wasnt working, and when I complained, the staff came and removed the unit entirely for repairs, causing noise and disturbance for over 3 hours. The room didnt have proper ventilation either, and overall, the condition was not what I expected from a hotel brand like Fab. Some noteworthy (but not in a good way) details: There were no basic toiletries provided. The bedsheets and towels didnt feel clean or fresh. Room lighting was dull, making the space feel even more uncomfortable. Soundproofing was poor I could hear noise from the hallway and other rooms. There also werent any good restaurants or places of interest nearby, making it hard to enjoy the location. Overall, I wouldnt recommend this hotel, and I will avoid FabHotels in the future.
Cash stolen from our bags while we were outside the hotel on 9th April 2025 between 6 AM to 11 pm approx. We informed hotel staff also regarding this incidence and asked them to inform us regarding this.
