Flanked by mangroves on the west and hills of the Western Ghats on the east, Dahisar is one of the greenest neighbourhoods in the city of Mumbai. Located in the city’s extreme north, it is an important industrial hub. Like most suburbs in the metropolis, it is divided into two parts — Dahisar West and Dahisar East — and much like the rest of Mumbai, its skyline is a mix of skyscrapers and one-two-storey houses. Those staying at hotels in Dahisar, Mumbai can easily access the industrial pockets of Pandurang Wadi and Mira–Bhayandar MIDC, and the important financial hubs of Borivali and Kandivali.
Being a buzzing locality, Dahisar has no shortage of traditional markets and modern shopping malls for people to satiate their thirst for retail therapy. Sai Krupa Mall, Dahisar Central, Inorbit Mall, Oberoi Mall, Infinity Mall, DMart, Raghuleela Mega Mall and Annex Mall are perfect for a combined dose of shopping, dining and live entertainment under one roof. If you are thinking of dining out, then you are in luck as Dahisar is home to a vast array of restaurants, serving everything from local Marathi to international favourites. Hotel Rama Krishna, Tendulkar’s Corner, The Fusion Kitchen, Shagun, West Coast Diner, Hill View, McDonald’s, Shubhangan and Ravindra Hotel are some of the most popular places to eat near Mumbai hotels in Dahisar. To chill with drinks, you can head to Royale Masterchef Finedine and Bar, Royale MasterChef Lounge, Zaika Crave - Club Aquaria or Timess Square.
Several of the lesser-known tourist attractions of Mumbai are located in this neighbourhood. Visitors planning a stay at Dahisar hotels can explore the 8th century Mandapeshwar Caves, go for a boat ride in Dahisar Mangroves or enjoy a trek to Vaghdevi Waterfalls (3.9 km). Among the popular places to visit in the area are Sanjay Gandhi National Park (3.1 km), Essel World (8.1 km), Global Vipassana Pagoda (8.2 km), Kanheri Caves (8.8 km), Gorai Beach (10.1 km), Chhota Kashmir (12.3 km), Aksa Beach (13.4 km), Vihar Lake (14.1), Mahakali Caves (16.1 km), Versova Beach (16.1 km), Juhu Beach (17.9 km), Madh Fort (19.4 km), and Upvan Lake (24.2 km). Tikuji-ni-Wadi (27.1 km) and Suraj Water Park (28.1 km) are some great places to relax near Dahisar.
Dahisar is 19.5 km from Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, and you can easily travel to and fro via taxis or Mumbai’s iconic red city buses, many of which are double-deckers. All hotels in Mumbai enjoy easy acce ss to the important parts of the city by Western Express Highway, part of National Highway 48, which connects the city to Delhi, Bengaluru and Chennai. In addition, Dahisar station on the Western Line of the Mumbai suburban railway network connects it to the prominent localities of Borivali, Kandivali, Andheri, Malad, Goregaon and Dadar. The nearest railhead for inter-state trains is Bandra Terminus (23.4 km); Mumbai Central Railway Station is 33.2 km, whereas Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Mumbai, is 36.3 km.
The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was very clean
The staff went out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as they could .
Pleasant and comfortable . My elderly parents were well looked after and the room service was also nice
Overall very nice ..Good bf Good staff. Good location.
Front desk staf and restaurant staff really excellent friendly very good
Everything specially the hospitality. We really felt welcomed
Starting from the check in until check out everything was so hassle free n comfy.
Flush not working l, lots of mosquitoes (no all out or good night devices were given)
Shower and dormant were not working. And lots of mosquitoes
Worst experience , I will never use Fab hotels anymore . The customer service said I can adjust my kids and they will book 3 beds and pay for extra bedding . What actually happened was a joke . I got a room of 2 people , the hotel was clueless . They also said the Fab hotel customer services always goof up as they over sell everything and do not inform the hotel . The hotel then gave me a 3 room and charged me extra . Bizarre and Bad management .
