Overall experience was good and staff was very supportive, but some issues like - hot water not there, TV not installed properly, cigarette smell is there, toiletries were of poor quality, checkin flexibility is not there
Good place to stay, very near to Kamta Bus Station. Affordable and clean
Room shown in pictures were not as clean as shown in booking.com pictures. One centipede(insect)was roaming, had to be killed. Room service, and staff were good
The Fabhotels brand is over l guess. The hotel was Average. But the room wasn't like the pictures shared to me by the Fabhotels agent. Infact there was no standard amenities like kettle. Earlier they use to give soap kit and dental kit labelled Fabhotels now it's nothing. Some regular substandard soap and shampoo like clinic plus. I think Fabhotels in expanding their business have started accompanying regular hotels and my guess is they don't even visit the location to verify the rooms in the hotel. I'm guessing it since l haven't heard from the booking agent about my concerns. Forget any compensation l haven't even got a apology in response of my disappointing experience.
Terrible Experience at Hotel Grand Inn – Avoid at All Costs! We recently hosted our reception event at Hotel Grand Inn, and I must say, it was an absolute disaster. While their per plate pricing may seem reasonable at first glance, their service, hospitality, and management are shockingly poor. Here’s a breakdown of our nightmarish experience: 1. False Pricing & Booking Scam The hotel claims their rooms cost ₹2,500 per night, but the same rooms are available for ₹1,100 on MakeMyTrip, including breakfast—which is their actual worth. If you book online, they threaten to cancel your booking and force you to book directly at their inflated rates. Even at ₹2,500, breakfast is not included, which is ridiculous for the price. 2. Filthy, Poorly Maintained Rooms The rooms were dusty, unhygienic, and had dirty toilets. The intercom was placed on a chair in front of the dressing table, blocking access to the wardrobe—zero thought put into room design. The so-called suite rooms (₹3,500 per night) were even worse! They had no mini-fridge, and the bathroom was the same as standard rooms. The only difference? An extra double bed—not worth the price at all. 3. Horrendous Guest Treatment & Unprofessional Staff Despite pre-booking, some of our guests didn’t receive their rooms because the hotel claimed they were occupied until noon—a clear failure in management. One guest didn’t even receive towels, despite repeated requests. When confronted, the receptionist was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional, saying, "Do whatever you want; we cannot help." The complimentary suite in our package was filthy, littered with cigarette butts. When we raised this issue, the booking manager made absurd claims, implying that our guests were responsible—absolutely insulting and unacceptable! 4. Reception Event – A Complete Disaster The event was chaotic and poorly organized. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian food stalls were placed together, making many vegetarian guests uncomfortable. The food quality was pathetic—far below acceptable standards. They didn’t even arrange proper seating for the families! Instead, they placed a tiny table for the bride and groom, while everyone else had to stand and eat—the worst arrangement we have ever seen. Final Verdict: Do Not Book This Hotel! Hotel Grand Inn is nothing but a scam with unprofessional staff, dirty rooms, and horrible service. They mislead customers with pricing, fail to provide basic hospitality, and are rude when confronted with issues. Our special event was ruined by their incompetence. Avoid this place at all costs. Book elsewhere if you want even a basic level of service.
The reason I am giving it 1 star is to bring light to the matter of cockroaches We stayed there for around 20 days and everything was almost fine but then I had to kill cockroaches day and night for all the 18-19 days that I stayed for The cleaning person azeem so proficient and efficient wrt his job, I could not see him working so hard everyday despite the never ending amount of cockroaches The hotel people are neither worried about the infestation nor are they worried about their cleaning staff who work so hard.i feel so bad for the cleaning guy Plsss solve the cockroaches issue asap. It's sickening and really disgusting. Otherwise the hotel was good
Absolutely Horrible Experience – Avoid at All Costs! I wish I could give this place zero stars because it doesn't even deserve one. Staying here was the worst decision ever! • Filthy Rooms: The pillows were disgustingly dirty and smelled awful. Clearly, they haven't been washed in ages! • No Cleaning: Housekeeping is nonexistent. The entire place was dusty, smelly, and completely unhygienic. • Cockroach Infestation: Yes, cockroaches in the room! If that doesn’t scream unlivable, I don’t know what does. • Disgusting Staff: The staff members looked just as dirty as the place itself. Unprofessional and completely indifferent to guest complaints. • No Proper AC: The AC barely worked, making the room hot and suffocating. With zero ventilation, it felt like a sauna. • No Maintenance: Everything was falling apart, from the bathroom fittings to the walls. Clearly, no one cares about upkeep. • No Essentials: No towels, no soap, nothing! They don’t even bother to provide the bare minimum for guests. • Not Safe for Families: I wouldn’t bring my worst enemy here, let alone my family. It’s simply unfit for human stay. Save yourself from this nightmare and stay far, far away!
Not a single star far this stay. Very pathetic condition of rooms and their service. No hygiene in the room. Will never recommend it. Dont book hotels online without seeing the property. They will show you luxurious pic but in reality, these are like hell. Ciggeratte smell all over the floor. You cant live with ur children with that odour. Washroom dirtiest, i have ever seen.
Terrible Experience – Avoid this Hotel at All Costs! I recently stayed at this hotel in Lucknow for 5 days, and it was an absolute nightmare. From the moment we checked in, the issues started piling up. The furniture in the room was broken, the mattress looked like it had been chewed on, and worst of all, there were cockroaches everywhere! They take full payment in advance and don't even provide basic amenities like toiletries, water bottles, slippers etc. The room service was incredibly slow – either they forgot our requests or took over an hour to address them. By the second day, we were completely fed up with the constant sight of cockroaches crawling around. Despite repeatedly bringing this to the staff's attention, they refused to acknowledge their mistakes and change our room. We finally decided to check out and asked for a refund, which they refused. After much hassle, they reluctantly agreed to change our room, but it was just as bad, if not worse. Cockroaches were literally roaming around our bed, and we had to keep spraying insecticide every time we saw one. It was beyond frustrating, and we didn’t feel safe or comfortable at all. This was, without a doubt, the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The management’s lack of concern and hospitality was appalling, and the condition of the rooms was disgusting. I strongly recommend you stay far away from this place. I’m attaching images and videos as proof of the horrifying conditions we had to endure.
