Rajendra Nagar is a suburban area towards the south of Hyderabad, which is fast emerging as an IT hub. The locality already has many prominent educational and healthcare establishments including National Institute of Rural Development (NIRD), Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) and National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM), among others. Owing to its strong infrastructure, the area is a suitable accommodation option for students and families and as IT companies start setting up shop here, it is sure to become a preferred choice of corporates looking for hotels in Hyderabad away from the chaos and traffic yet close to work.
Shopping options are limited for those staying at hotels in Rajendra Nagar, except a few individual stores and market complexes. The best place near the locality suitable for a retail therapy is South India Shopping Mall (6.8 km). Most other shopping malls in Hyderabad are a short drive away. As of now, dining options in Rajendra Nagar include fast food centres and small eateries serving a range of local delicacies. Lucky Fast Food & Special Hyderabad Biryani, Mr Fresco Food Court, Om Shiva Sai Hotel, Ice N Spice and Dheeraj Fast Food Centre are a few of the options in the area.
There are quite a few gardens and parks in Rajendra Nagar, where travellers can spend leisure time. For those who are interested in sightseeing, Botanical & Horticultural Garden (4.2 km), Eco Park (4.2 km), Sudha Car Museum (9.5 km) and Nehru Zoological Park (10.1 km) are must-visit places within a half an hour drive. Some of the best tourist attractions in Hyderabad like Golconda Fort, Charminar, Chowmahalla Palace, Qutb Shah Tomb, Salar Jung Museum and Mecca Masjid are also within 15 km radius of Rajendra Nagar hotels and can be easily reached by road in 30 to 40 minutes’ drive.
Currently, Rajendra Nagar is well-connected to different parts of the city by TSRTC buses and taxis; soon the locality might also be served by a metro network. For those travelling from other cities as well as countries, the nearest city gateway to the area is Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (20 km), Shamshabad. Other major entry points to the city including Kacheguda (16 km), Hyderabad (19 km) and Secunderabad Junction (25 km) railway stations, MGBS (14 km) and Jubilee Bus Station (25 km) – also offer easy access to hotels in Rajendra Nagar, Hyderabad being located within an hour.
Nice Breakfast service. Room service excellent. There are many things to praise for!!!
The hotel was one of the best I have ever eaten in. Fabulous food and great service
Like the food and cleanliness in hotel..
Excellent customer care and breakfast
Food was excellent and their managers in restaurant were very helpful. Due to fast, my wife wanted some different fruits , which were not on table. Same was provided promptly without Any extra charge. Good variety of breads were available for vegetarians also, which was helpful as some of our family members are strictly vegetarian
Excellent room. Excellent staff. Excellent location
Very good location very friendly staff best place for kids
The place is located of the highway making it dusty and polluted in genral. No tarred roads around the building. The TV and phone did not work in our room. The place is under construction making it even more messy. The whole property was covered is layers of fine construction dust. The furniture is tacky and dilapidated. The bathrooms are congested, with rusty fixtures and stained tiles. The staff is accommodating but in no way makes up for the below average amenities at this property. The 1/2 lt bottle of water is insufficient and cheap for the price of the room. Also, providing only one towel when a family with two adults and a child have checked in… seemed like they are desperately cutting corners.
A very average stay, but that’s expected from a budget hotel. The good part was that the rooms and washroom were clean. However, the bedsheets, pillow covers, and towels had little stains, which bothered me, and they were just rearranged the next day instead of being changed. The washroom had issues too—slow water flow, an initially unclean water supply, a non-functional shower, and a broken hand pipe near the commode. Basic toiletries like soap, toothpaste, and a toothbrush were not provided, so carry your own. The biggest disappointment was the non-working WiFi, which they didn’t even attempt to fix. No in-house food service except breakfast (which I didn’t try), so you have to rely on Zomato/Swiggy. Wouldn’t recommend if you need a hassle-free stay. They also added a fake review on booking.com under my name
