FabHotel Prime Emerald Highland Goa
"I strongly advise against booking a stay at any FabHotel. Most of the positive reviews here appear to be fake, likely posted to artificially inflate the overall rating—they are far from reflecting the actual experience. I originally booked a different FabHotel through Expedia and paid for it over a month in advance. When I arrived, the reception was unstaffed, and there were loud construction noises. After some time, a staff member who spoke only Hindi approached me and handed me a phone number. When I called, I was informed that the hotel I had booked was closed, and I had been internally rebooked to another FabHotel. However, there was no assistance offered on how to reach the new location, leaving me to walk for 25 minutes under the scorching sun with two suitcases. When I finally arrived at the reassigned hotel, "FabHotel Prime Emerald Highland," the reception there had no knowledge of my rebooking. After a quick phone call and showing my booking confirmation, they assigned me a room. The hotel was in disrepair—partially resembling an unfinished construction site and, in some areas, a junkyard (see photos). The pool was green and clearly neglected, making swimming there impossible. The room itself was completely rundown and unacceptable. Fortunately, Expedia was able to help later that evening and moved me to a proper hotel. My advice: Opt for international hotel chains with established standards to avoid such unpleasant surprises. Unfortunately, situations like this are not uncommon in India. Paying a bit more for safety, cleanliness, and reliable quality is well worth it."

We arrived earlier than expected by a few hours and our room was prioritised in terms and we were able to check in early free of charge. This was very helpful and appreciated as we were quite tired after a long flight."

"Rooms(2 stars): Rooms were just about average. The mattress was also very old, you feel disappointed the moment you sit on it. The extra mattress they provided was also very lumpy, old & thin and 2-3 baby cockroaches came complementary with the mattress. Very disappointed with sleeping arrangements overall. Only the Ac, Gieser and Power backup ware working fine and I gave them full 2 stars just for the same. Room Service(-5 stars if i had an option for negative marking): Room Service or any Service will only come at standard delay of atleast 30 min. If you want it faster, they will respond by 25th-26th min after you had quarreled 3-4 times for it. Resturant: it's there in the premises and the food I ordered was a parcel and was good. But we did not order anything else because of their very poor service. Location(5 stars): is a big advantage, less than 5 min walk to the beach and Titos lane. So overall, I would not pick this hotel ever again on my subsequent visits and would not recommend it to any of my known people."

"(1) If you are going to book after hearing the name of the fab hotel, think again. Fab is the only suffix they use. So don't go by the name of the fab hotel. (2) Due to non-availability of hot water, young children had to bathe with cold water. (3) TV channel is not working at all as they don't pay the TATA sky rent. They change after our request. Means they don't check. (4) The front desk person is very arrogant while asking a query. (5) They misguide us on Google maps that they accept UPI or credit cards. But they don't accept it."

"The rooms are very basic and do not meet the standards shown in the pictures on the FAB website. The furniture is too old and need repair urgently. The bedsheets and pillows were stained and smelled unpleasant. The bed is very old and caused back pain, so serious updates are needed. The overall experience is very bad pathetic hotel stay."

"Hotel was overpriced for what it is. My room had no kettle, no handsoap in bathroom, iron was broken and no AC remote. I asked for an AC remote and a kettle to be given which both were. Problem was AC remote was taken from the room next door and didn't work. I was left with the choice of being too hot or too cold all night. The bathroom wasn't clean when I arrived, flies in the sink and what looked like rodent feces. The pillows were exposed through the pillow covers and were definitely not clean, brown pillows are not a good look.. I also asked for coffee and water to be given to the room and after 3 days I was still waiting. I'd not recommend this hotel, the pictures are either very old or intentionally deceiving. Only positive is the wifi was better than the hotel I was in prior"
