"Can’t understand how this hotel got 3 star category. The bed , pillow , bedsheets ,and towels looked not fresh and discoloured . Even there they didn’t kept the basic things in the wash room . From the minute you step into the hotel they start saying check out time is 11 AM . They even call in the early morning and tell check out time is 11 AM therefore pressurising us . Altogether didn’t had a pleasant stay at this hotel ."

"Me and my friend booked the hotel to stay for 7 days it's an business trip unfortunately the man sitting in the reception whom he mentioned as general manager of the hotel denied the check-in mentioned that I have booked through fab website .the hotel is partner of fab hotels .Actually he asked us to pay him directly and asked us to cancel the booking with the fab , due to this greedy behaviour of the manager at royal castle inn hotel we have to suffer a lot finding another place ,never trust this hotel. The.manager was greedy he wanted us to pay to him directly it's shows they are just behind money. Also the manager in royal castle inn Coimbatore told us that Feb doesn't pay them money regularly. Fab hotel confirm us they regularly pay them money but I think the royal castle inn manager wanted to make extra money by making us cancel the booking which we done through fab website. Fab should stop giving them booking or cancel the partnerships with this hotel."

"They accept bookings from booking . Com but the issue is, they only provide it at the exact time of the booking start . So book correctly. But they have free rooms available when you visit in-person. I stayed in first floor, and it's a non ac room, still it felt cold . Good for me, I saved some money in this. Easy to reach from Gandhipuram busstand. It's walkable, so don't take auto . Other nearby hotels and shops are in walkable distance.Overall I suggest this place for staying ."

"Awesome!!! Pros 1.Hotel is located in the city itself.So it was very convenient. 2.Car/Bike parking was available. 3. Room was clean and clear. 4.Toilets also were cleaned well. 5.Response from the reception to our requirements or needs was 110% fast and best. 6.Complimentary break fast was provided to us. It was above average.Neat restaurant. 7.Well maintained lift was available. Cons. 1.Toilet exhaust system was not enough to clear to foul smell from toilet. Hopefully they will solve it soon. In total we are totally satisfied 9.99/10 So, whenever Covai again, we will stay here!!!"

"Terrible Experience with Fab Hotels I booked a stay with them 3 days in advance, receiving confirmation even on the morning of our check-in. My husband, our 3-month-old baby, and I were driving from Chennai to Coimbatore and arrived at the hotel around 8 PM after a long journey. That afternoon, I was informed that our originally booked hotel was under maintenance, and they arranged accommodation at another property. After confirming this with Mr. Pulkit from customer care, we arrived only to find that they had booked a single room instead of the one we had requested. They demanded extra payment for a deluxe room. Despite the inconvenience caused by their mistake, they suggested we cancel our booking and find another place to stay. After a lengthy argument, Mr. Chandrasheker, a senior staff member, finally arranged for us to stay without additional charges. The room we were given was small, poorly maintained, and smelled strongly of naphthalene balls. The bed was uncomfortable, making our stay extremely unpleasant, especially with a baby. I would never recommend Fab Hotels to anyone based on this awful experience."

"Rooms are O. K. Services are very good. Located in prime. But to my bad luck, certain avoidable things happened from the hotelier side . Even though my booking is from 12.00, I reached the hotel only by 3.40 pm, because my train was late. When I reported in the reception, I got a reply saying that all a/C rooms are booked because of over booking and I have to wait for 2-3 hrs. When I questined back, then they were ready to give a non a/C room and refund the difference which is not even 100 bucks. When I refused to accept that offer, I was asked to cancel the the booking online and they offered to arrange some other accommodation. I rejected that offer. Then at last they provided a double, standard, non a/c room for 4 hrs and then shifted me to the original triple a/c room which was booked. The reason qouted is over booking by the apps. I don't know the truth, but really put me in hardship. Rest are all ok."

"This review has been a much delayed one .\n\nI vistited coimbatore in May. I was actually travelling from kerala via intercity express with my wife n 15 month old baby. The journey though wasn't long was definitely exhausting with a little child and i had called the Hotel earlier asking them for a pickup from coimbatore station to the Hotel at Rs250 cost.\n\nAs i was unable to connect with the hotel team before my train reached the station and the hotel ppl couldn't get through me ,the hotel taxi went for another pick up. Now on landing I heard this from the front office and was extremely upset , within few mins the hotel said they are arranging a quick-fix to the problem and asked me to wait.\n\nAnnoyed i waited and within 20 mins i got a call for a pick up from the station and stepped into a lovely neat car whose driver seemed extremely polished. Later on talking to the driver, i realised that he wasn't a driver but the MD's son, The GM of the hotel Mr.Dinesh .\n\nLater on our way back to the hotel, we asked Mr.Dinesh where we could buy a few things for the baby like diapers / formula etc. He immediately took us to a Nilgiri store. We spent half -an-hour there and finally reached the hotel exhausted. \n\nAs soon as we reached the hotel the staff rushed to help us with the luggage, the formalities etc..Now when i was about to pay the Hotel reception Rs250 for the drop, they refused to accept the money as was instructed to them by Mr.Dinesh .We were honestly touched !\n\nFurthermore the staff is just always willing to help, for breakfast we wanted to give our baby oats and needed to cook it a little . Thus we poured out the oats into our small vessel and called for the staff to heat it for us. Within 20 mins or so we got it, the oats covered in foil in a different dish and our vessel washed and sent to us .\n\nTheir restaurant may not be the best but its simple and neat. The best part is their service. They never say NO to any request.\nMy wife wanted to have dosa's during breakfast but they had only idlis and some other south indian dishes that day, yet they never hesitated in making us a Dosa or so.\n\nThe rooms too are amazing, very spacious (as we took the premium one ) . Equipped with just about everything you may need especially an ironing board and an iron. \n\nI would surely want to visit ROYAL CASTLE again, simply because of their top notch service. Best place for families ! \n\nHotel too is centrally located in the city."

"Good things first 1. Hotel is centrally located. Its within 10 to 15 minutes from most of the important places you want to visit in Coimbatore. You Ola cabs or Red city taxis as well everywhere, along with Autos. The area also has lots of restaurants, Electronics, jewellery, Hosiery and a variety of other shops. You can just walk to get almost anything you need. The area is also filled with small multi specialty hospitals. 2. Hotel staff are very courteous and well mannered. They are very helpful too. 3. Hotel provides complimentary buffet breakfast in the morning. Its a decent spread. Coffee is great too. You always have fruit juices and fruits which change every day. You also get complimentary Hindu newspapers every morning. 4. Room prices in the hotel are decent enough. 5. You get reasonably good speed Wifi. However you need to get it activated by provided your devices Mac ID. 6. Check Out times are slightly adjustable. Also, although i prepaid before i landed at the hotel, i guess they accept card payment as well which is helpful. 7. Hotel is environment friendly. They provide mineral water in multi colored Glass bottles (Colour Therapy ?) and also have Solar water heaters in the rooms. 8. Hotel provides paste, Toothbrush and soap. 9. They have nice diffused lighting, bed lamps, dressing table lamps, reading lamps etc. They also have an electrical do no disturb sign which is good thinking. Feedback about things to improve. 1. Cleanliness - Cleaning staff are good and courteous. They provide clean towels everyday. However, they do not change the pillow covers, bed sheets and quilts every day. They sweep the floor during cleaning, however do not mop. Toilets and sink had stains which were not cleaned, inspite of telling the cleaning staff. The mug was slippery, which could be result of still water being in it for a large number of days and moss. We are very particular about toilet and bathroom cleanliness and this is the main reason for this 3 out of 5 rating. Also dust bins are not cleared out when the room is cleaned. 2. Sleeping mattresses are OK, but average. 3. TV has a local cable TV service. Tata sky or some other service would have been better with a large number of channels."

"The Hotel Royal Castle Inn is an upscale, new, clean hotel with good A/C, fan, oversize towels, and wifi that, in my room, works poorly.\n\nIt regularly loses connectivity and has to be restarted with the username and password that the hotel provides. I asked if they would change my room and they seemed to have agreed but then completely forgot. When it works, the wifi is medium fast.\n\nThe bed is made without a top sheet, which I didn't discover until I crawled in at 11 pm. I called the front desk (after cursing aloud but not too loud) and it arrived soon. Attractive metal canisters labeled soap, shampoo, or moisturizer are hung strategically in the bathroom and cosmetic nook (with mirror), the shower water is hot and plentiful, the bathroom seems like it was constructed according to modern standards. They should consider having a shower curtain - the toilet gets very wet. There was no toilet paper. I called in a request at 10 pm and it arrived promptly.\n\nThe 5 story hotel is on a relatively quiet NS side street between two busy EW streets and the windows are multiple paned. Although I didn't explore much, it seems like the neighborhood is not geared to tourist traffic. I walked four blocks in one direction and then several more in the other and did not see a restaurant I would feel comfortable eating in. Most had no table, some had a single table or perhaps two. I'm sure if I stayed longer I'd get a fix on the city and feel OK taking a tuk tuk to one of the restaurants at the top of tripadvisor's list but this night I concluded I might have a hard time finding my way back.\n\nThe next morning the front desk called and offered me breakfast even though it had not been included in the room rate. The breakfast was spare but decent. When I returned to the room the bed had been made (without, of course, the top sheet) and the windows were wide open. I hope the housekeeping staff redoes the bed with clean sheet(s) and pillow case when they learn I've only stayed one night.\n\nThe management seems well-meaning and works hard but seems unprepared. The front desk seems to have too much going on for just one person. Housekeeping is inconsistent."

"I traveled to Coimbatore on the 9th and 10th of Jan 2015 with the family and booked the Royal Castle Inn through Goibibo as the rates were competitive.\n\nI was apprehensive of the quality as it was the first time that I picked a hotel without doing my research on it. But I was pleasantly surprised. On landing in Coimbatore railway station, there was a hotel cab waiting for me (for a very reasonable charge). The ride to the hotel took about 20 minutes.\n\nOn entering the hotel, I was welcomed by Mr. Anand (Front Office Manager) and Mr. Dinesh (Duty Manager), who were very receptive and helpful. They checked me in within minutes and I was on my way to the room.\n\nThe Room\nThe room I stayed in was the Executive room. It was quite spacious and well maintained.The furniture was new and of good quality.\n\nThe Bathroom\nWhat surprised me was the quality and maintenance of the Bathroom / WC - Very clean and well maintained. The only suggestion I have for the Management is to add some basic amenities like shampoo / shower gel etc.\n\nBasic Amenities\nThere is a kettle in the room, with coffee / tea sachets, so no complaints there. Another suggestion is to fill up the minibar (which was empty).\n\nCleanliness\nThe premises is well maintained and kept tidy. Kudos\n\nRestaurant \nTheir restaurant is just opened and hence serves only breakfast. Though small in size (accommodates about 12), the quality of food is very good. Another suggestion is to pay attention to the warmers that are kept in place. When good food is served cold, it spoils the pleasure.\n\nRoom Service\nVery quick and courteous staff. Presentation of food items served in room service needs to be improved. Again, food needs to be atleast warm and not cold.\n\nOverall, a very pleasing stay and well maintained hotel with friendly staff. I just hope they make the slight improvements on the suggested areas. And I definitely hope they dont compromise on their quality and maintenance in the long run."

"this is a worst hotel where u can stay since staff is rude, they try to intimidate you, give your rooms to walk in guests ,don't enetertain goibibo customers.Even fab customer care didn't help when I checked in yesterday with my wife and son.,there was no bell boy to carry out luggage, we were given key to room no.208 and when we entered there was luggage of someone else lying there and 3 guys with beer bottles entered room.We were shocked.called reception and guy was clueless.Manager Mr. sathya came after 30 minutes of fight with reception guy who didn't know English or Hindi.There was someone standing there watching whole drama and after 20 minutes started shouting at us saying he is MDs relative.All in all there was full chaos and we had to threat to get room which was allotted to us at 10:30 PM and we were told that there was no room when we checked in and this room got just vacated.You can imagine the plight of us.We could not even eat food although we had booked dinner package .The staff later on tried to intimidate us saying we can go legal if we have any isssue.We could not sleep the whole night and we checked out at 5:30 am fearing for our lives.We have written a mail to CEO of fab and complaint to goibibo immediately.Fab customer care didn't help even after repeated calls.We have recording of all calls. Such hotel must be deleted by goibibo since they say book directly if you want service instead of online.I have stayed in many properties including FABs but never faced such a horror.Book at your own risk.Room 208 was shown vacant in system but there were 3 guys having beer There .That means they have given our room to walk in customer and tried to made money thinking we may not come.,although I had called at FAb customer care in morining itself Nd informed about out late check in.The hotel has very odd vibes which a family 'll not like.Avoid at all costs"

I have booked this hotel via Goibibo & stayed here for 3 nights from 25 Dec'15 to 28 Dec'15.\nHotel is located in 7th street extension & but there is no sign board at the entrance of the street, but you can easy to find out via google maps. No issues.\nRooms are very spacious, tidy and having 5 star hotel amenities. Complimentary breakfast & Dinner is good. Nowhere you can get complimentary dinner for this price.\nRoom service quality is average, if I ask for normal mineral water they will come with chilled mineral water.\nIf someone ask a room service staff in English, their understanding & reply capability is poor. Staff needs more training.\nBar is recently opened & I met the owner of the hotel Mr. Dinesh there. In bar, they provide 60 ml complimentary drink if you purchase 120 ml of spirits.\nThere is no international spirits since the bar is recently opened.\nMr. Dinesh is a nice person & very helpful guy.\nRestaurant service is excellent. If you ask any food , they will prepare & serve for you. Staff are very flexible.\nBed is very soft & sleep quality is excellent. But during day time there is a noise from the upper ( 4th floor) due to the maintenance works.\nInside room , you will have liquid soap, shampoo, moisturizer etc. you will feel like staying in a five star hotel. All the rooms are centrally air conditioned.\nFree wifi is been provided & you can connect 2 devices. Connection is slow only & most of the times you got disconnected & need to logon again. It's ok.\nOverall stay is royal in Royal castle & 100% value for money.\nI will stay again with my family during my next visit!!!.\nRoyal castle in Coimbatore Rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!."

"The following points were very disappointing and should be noted:- 1. There was a foul stench in the restroom. It seems the drainage from the toilet isn't clean. Biogas odor was all over in the restroom. 2. Most of the TV channels were in Tamil. Please note that guests needn't speak the native language! 3. We were disappointed with the quality of Royal cafA© where we had breakfast. On the first day we went at about 9.30am, only to find very limited breakfast items. The dispenser for corn / wheat flakes was lousy, There was even a cockroach on our table. 4. Bisleri water was being supplied in glass bottles. How can we be certain that the water is genuinely Bisleri (which is normally sold on retail in plastic bottles)? 5. Receptionist and other staff were not about to converse in any other language other than Tamil. How can you invite people from all over the world, when your staff can communicate only in the local language? 6. The carpet in the lift was heavily soiled. No sign of any replacement! 7. The a/c compressor in room 308 was very noisy. 8. The hotel doesn't even provide hot water for bathing. There is an instruction which says that the first 60 Litres of water will be cold, after which we can get got water, since the water takes time to reach us from the solar water heater located far away. Is this the way you treat guests, that they have to waste a bucket full of water because it is cold, before they get hot water? 9. The food menu should be managed by qualified chefs. We had ordered malai kofta, and phulkas, and were surprised at the abysmal quality of food! "I woke up after the first night and my phone was totally dead, it had been on charge all night, I took it to the iPhone shop and they said it was a circuit problem, all my data was lost and I basically needed a new phone. They told me it was most likely a plug socket that caused the problem (perhaps an overload of power or water in the plug due to shower on other side of wall). I went back to the hotel and told the manager but he said there's no way of proving it was their socket, so there's nothing they can do. He didn't show any sign of getting someone to check the socket/electricity. On the second night the staff were working very loudly till 2am, moving chairs/tables, sweeping etc. Phones ringing in the corridor, shouting, with no thought for the people who were sleeping. I kept going out to tell them but none of them speak English, although they should of realised what I was saying by the fact that I was stood in my boxers looking annoyed in the middle of the night. They carried on regardless. The next evening I left and told them I wasn't going to pay the remainder of the bill because they are responsible for breaking my iPhone and were loud in the night. They said it 'wasn't their problem' and a few of the staff came out into the street to stop me from leaving. After some fuss which resulted in them calling the police I paid up and left to get my train. The people seem nice enough but they need to take some responsibilty for the hotel, the rooms are fine for the price, but it's a bit of a shambles and beware of the plug sockets! It cost me my phone. Rooms and bathrooms are fine and clean."

Es ist vom Flughafen aus gut per Taxi zu erreichen und liegt sehr zentral im Einkaufsviertel von Coimbatore, in einer fr indische Verhltnisse recht ruhigen Seitenstrae. Das Personal ist jung, sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und stets hilfsbereit, ich habe keinerlei negative Erfahrung whrend meiner Aufenthalte gemacht, ganz im Gegenteil. Die Zimmer sind verhltnismig gerumig, sehr sauber und haben moderne, westliche Badezimmer mit jedem Komfort. Hervorragende Betten, ich habe selten in einem Hotel so gut geschlafen, selbst in Deutschland htte mich dieses Hotel positiv berrascht. Das Essen ist sehr gut und der Zimmerservice schnell und zuverlssig. Die frischen Sfte sind traumhaft lecker, der Kaffee berirdisch gut, wie erstaunlicherweise oft in Tamil Nadu, das westliche Frhstck ist okay bis gut (leckere Omeletts und Obstsalat), das indische wirklich hervorragend. Alle Gerichte auch mild gewrzt erhltlich. Internet geht gut, man bekommt an der Rezeption eine Karte mit Zugangsdaten zum kostenlosen WLAN, wenn man danach fragt. Keinerlei Mckenprobleme. Gute und recht leise Klimaanlage und regulierbarer Deckenventilator. Zimmertr mit Sicherheitsschloss, man fhlt sich aber generell in diesem Hotel sehr sicher und gut aufgehoben, was fr mich als alleinreisende Frau uerst angenehm war."

"Being a solo female traveller, I was concerned about security. It was safe as there is a guard as well as the reception staff are always on their toes. Stayed here from 8 March - 11 March 2015. The hotel room was clean, neat & cozy. The bathroom was spotless. The bathroom came with the usual toiletrries as well as a toothbrush, paste as well as a disposable shaver. In India I understand you have to wait awhile for hot water after running the taps. No worries the water pressure was good! The bed & pillows - very clean & comfortable. The room has a little nook with a dressing table & cupboard. Well thought out room design. Room comes with a water bottle. Breakfast was the usual south indian fare & you can request hot dosas. But be prepared to pay for fresh juice though. I called the staff before taking the flight to Coimbatore & told them I did not know how to direct the taxi driver they arranged a taxi to pick me from the airport & send me to the hotel. Along with that my daily going into the city, they arranged autos for me- they also bargained for me to bring the fare down! They were concerned for me each time checking whenever I left & returned if everything was ok. So near the shopping areas I could walk safely & back. Mr Udhay & his crew were really helpful. Kudos to the team at this hotel."

"I booked two rooms for 24th May for one day and the stay was good.The breakfast was good but the non vegetarian dishes was not up to the mark.We checked out next day and again checked in on 26th May against our pree booking.We had booked two rooms and we got the keys from the reception.The shocking thing was that when we entered room no.410 it was found uncleaned and the used bedsheets were not removed yet.This shows the irresponsibility of the house keeping staff and the hotel management.We never expected such an attitude from a hotel of your status.Another thing I noticed is that the wall paintings are seen damaged in the under side of the entrance pportion of the toilet of room no.408 which should be repaired immediately.When I asked for a vehicle to Vadavally on 25th May the receptionist arranged a vehicle and the driver charged Rs.450/for a distance of less than 10km.The receptionist did not tell me about Ola or Red Taxi.When we returned from Vadavally next day to FabRoyal Castle in Red Taxi they charged only Rs.180/.So one thing I want to bring to your notice that when arranging vehicles for customers please don't put extra burden on the customers sometimes for some personal benefits.Think in favour of the customers.Thank you very much for your hospitality and hope we will meet again in near future.Thank you."

"I studied at Coimbatore and I have a fairly good understanding of what used to be the accommodation prices around the area but Hotel Royal Castle Inn just rocks. \n\nDouble AC Room Occupancy = Rs 2800 and you get discounts if you are signed up with Goibibo etc. Further they offered Free Breakfast AND Diner . You also have free wifi access to the rooms. The rooms are always clean , fairly spacious and all necessary toiletries are included. The Hotel has a bar which is on the first floor along with the restaurant. you can get the usual buffet at the restaurant or you can order a la carte at your room. The food tasty too. The staff was very friendly and was ready to accommodate our needs . \n\nThe Hotel is a eco hotel in other words you wont find plastic or cut flowers and stuff like that all over the place. The location of the hotel also places you right in the heart of Coimbatore and its easy for anyone who would like to go anywhere or walk out for shopping. \n\nIf I wanted to nitpick I guess I could say some cons are the unavailability of a mini fridge in room , TV channels are a bit limited , a bit hard to locate if you don't ask around since getting there involves you taking a pocket road on 100 ft road. \n\nDefinitely would stay here next time also and would recommend others to drop by ."

Never before did I find shaving cream/moisturisor in dispensor bottles or an iron and a ironing table in any hotel tha t I have stayed at. Little bottles of it left in the shower I have seen, but this was simply amazing. The decor and the upkeep were amazing. \n\nAt the end of it, I was sad that I was only halting there for the night. A lap of luxury in the heart of Coimbatore at an extremely reasonable tariff. I don't think one could ask for more. \n\nNo cons that I can think of :-)"

"One of the worst experiences I have had, the worst place and attitude of the staff is horrendous. I had made a reservation through FabHotels website for 3 days for a suite room, starting from the 8th of November till the 11th and paid the whole amount I had informed FabHotels that I would arrive at 11pm on the 8th. I had arrived at the hotel at the said time, the front desk person informs me he has no rooms available on questioning him about it, he says he has one room available, 202, he keeps me waiting for 45 minutes to clean the room. The said room was a room that was not functioning, right from the locks to the water in the bathroom everything was not functioning. The front desk person told me he could give me a suite room, if there would be one available tomorrow. I called customer care of FabHotels first thing next morning and explained the situation and asked for a full refund and that I would be checking out, they were not interested in helping me in anyway, they wanted me to wait till after 12 to check if the hotel would give me another room. I had enough, I asked they to refund atleast the unused 2 days fare, after speaking for over 40 minutes they finally agreed. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM FABHOTELS"

At Hotel they forced us to take up two additional rooms quoting more no. of people, even though our headcount was as disclosed and allocated by booking.com booking details (even the no. and age of children was disclosed) 5. Hotel forced us for full price applicable to kids beyond 8 years, though they couldn't show/prove this anywhere in their policy/documentation at hotel. 6. I was charged additionally for 3 people, We ended up paying since breakfast was denied to 3 people, which forced us to pay INR 1500 (500 per person additionally)."

"Worst experience ever. Third class hospitality. We had booked 2 rooms in Fabhotel Jhansi Deluxe. We checked into the hotel at 12.30 p.m. and requested for 2 different rooms. They confirmed to allot us Room Nos. 110 and 111. However, we wanted a late check-in for another room as our guest's flight had delayed. Still we requested for 2 keys. But they said that the other room was not ready and that they would hand over the key later. So, we took the keys and checked into Room no. 110 just to see the wet floor. We then left for sightseeing and were to return by late evening. Later, when we returned back to the hotel, we were alloted Room no. 105 instead of 111 which was not adjacent to our Room 110 but way too far. Plus the room size was too small. We denied to take the keys for Room no. 105 and asked the receptionist to provide us with another room of same category. The receptionist was very rude and arrogant and asked us to contact the customer service without listening to anything. To sum up, it was a highly unprofessional service provided by the hotel. They should atleast know to value their customers rather than humiliating them."

"I would like to comment on the following area . 1.Sleep Quality : seems like the mattress are year old and almost gone . Severe body ache after you get up in the morning. 2. Air condition system : front desk guy informed me to set the temperature to 19 degrees if we need a cool atmosphere in the room.we had set it to 24 and we where sweating. I assume the AC system will be turned off during the night. 3. Buffet breakfast : you will need to ask for the menu of the day. Even though you see a variety of food. Those will be the sides. Main course will have to be ordered and have to wait till it comes.based on availability. Fruit juice is loaded with sugar PPL with Diabetes will have to be carefull. 4. Hot water : understand this hotel takes green initiatives. However it is foolish to inform customers to wait until 60 liters of cold running water to get hot water. If you are planing for early morning checkout. You will have to waste 3 buckets of water... 5. Staff : the staff's are really soft spoken. Appreciate they wear a uniform. If not it is difficult to find out whom to approach for queries. Hightime Management takes action..."

"No room service. No parking space. Room was not clean, they sprayed some bad room spray which I could smell from the shirts after I returned home couple of days later. Bedsheets and pillow covers were pathetic. They don't even offer soaps and toothpaste. They provided just one towel for double occupancy room. I would recommend spending few more bucks and go for the nearby hotels, Apple park or the Fortune Or Alankar grande."

"Stayed there Sept 14 and found the stay extremely comfortable.\n\nBooked a suite which is quite spacious with bedroom and living room with good sofas.\n\nEverything was clean and neat which was surprising for a mid level hotel in Coimbatore.\n\nJust a short walk away is the shopping street with all those big textile malls, and few restaurants.\n\nAt that time, hotel did not provide any restaurant, but some reviews mentioned they added one recently.\n\nFew cons:\n- it is kind of tucked away in a small street though once you are inside you will not feel it.\n- Some confusion where they put us in a room and immediately asked us to go to the next floor due to some problem, but they helped us move and courteous.\n- While checking out, they charged the normal amount but after I mentioned about the discount offer I got over the phone, they quickly changed.\n- No formal receptionists, it looks like always a couple of local guys standing there BUT they were good enough to help you with whatever you need.\n\nOverall, if you are looking for a refreshing stay, would certainly recommend it."

"What was good : The location is alright. For a budget hotel, the room is good. Breakfast is good. The tariff for regular hours of 12 noon to next day is decent. This is the second FAB hotel experience for me. I would rate it above the other budget brand. Largely predictable quality. What was bad : The staff are indifferent. The man at the reception when I checked in was nearly rude and brusque. He made me feel handling me was a chore that he better be done with asap. The bathroom is poorly designed. Bath water flows into the other half. Though breakfast was good, there were no cups for sambar! The restaurant staff also were indifferent. While the regular tariff is value for money early check in was charged Rs.600! Particularly when I was to leave the same evening!! More than half of the tariff! Certainly not value for money. Room service is deplorable. I asked for tea before checking out at 5 pm. A bare cup of tea without a lid was brought after what seemed an eternity. The service person wouldn't leave the room till I paid for the tea which was cold!!!"

"Overall my experience is very bad. Cons. 1. There is no quality check for the room after the previous customer checkout. There was no towel and old used soap was on the wash sink. 2. They have put night lamp inside the bathroom, it is dark. Please Use common sense. 3. Leaky and squeaky air conditioner, dripping water and making noise all night. 4. I came from US for a business meeting and also to visit few close friends (both male and female) and they came to the hotel and the front desk did not allow the ladies to the room during day time. What the heck? Who are they to allow or not allow my friends. I paid to stay there to meet my friends. This is a huge disappointment. 5. Room decor and quality is not worth the rental they are charging which is more than Rs.1600 plus. Pros. 1. Breakfast was free (included in the room rate) and good. 2. Checkin was easy. Overall, I won’t recommend this hotel to anyone. I will be visiting Coimbatore again for few days stay and I will surely avoid this hotel. There are better serving hotels there. Less than 1 Star. Thanks."

"The hotel is located at a convenient location near the SETC Gandhipuram Bus Stand. It is about 10 min walk from the bus stand and is located in a small lane. The hotel is very close the market area, where you have large textile shops such as Sreedevi Textiles, Cheenai Silks, Pothys etc. Hotel is small with 4 floors but is very well maintained. Rooms are quite spacious and clean. Complimentary tea/coffee is available in the room. Room service was also pretty fast. They have a TV which is practically useless if you do not know Tamil. Only 3 non Tamil channels out of which 2 are English News and one a English movie. This seems to be the problem with every hotel in Tamil Nadu. Maybe they think that everyone in the world understands Tamil. They have a bar on the 5th floor which will serve you drinks with complimentary snacks. They have a large projector screen playing songs and you guessed it right, in Tamil !! Breakfast had limited options but quite filling and tasty. Overall a good clean place to stay near the Gandhipuram bus stand."

They have started new restaurant the food is good.the management called for feed back.we are more than pleased by there service.food price is ok. After 3 days we r back again to our surprised room are almost same with less facilities restaurant only serving south indian thali, breakfast dish finished they are not interested to fill it by the way it was 9.30 at that time my family was last to have our breakfast.Phulkas rate is changed from Rs20 to 40. We ordered our lunch fro outside from there recommended restaurant according to my calculation the bill was 570 they charged us 200 I think for room service.I am just requesting the management that you have a good properties please manage it with little professionalism and personal touch.best of luck"

"Booked 2 rooms to stay their for three nights with family (2 adults, 2 children), but decided to cut short the stay and travel to Ooty. Good decent size clean rooms. Impressed by the cleanliness. Check-in was quick, buffet spread though limited, but is enough. Food prices appears to be expensive considering the star rating, but quality of food seems decent. Overall good half day stay. We checked in at 10:30 PM on 10th night and checked out at 3:00 PM on 11th. Disappointed when the hotel did not agree for partial refund since we had remaining 2 nights booked and it seemed that the hotel was not extraordinarily booked which could have caused loss of rent to them. Legally Ok as per booking policy of Cleartrip, but it appeared to be rather opportunistic on the part of the hotel - when they were not fully booked and were not loosing any rent because of our cancellation / refund. Lost more than 10K and not agreeing for a partial refund was rather spoilsport. Not sure why they should be rated so high."

"First of all they allowed me to check in very early by 6 AM. The hotel room was spacious and well lit. Bed was comfortable to sleep, but my room had two single beds which I had to join together to sleep well. I had to do that as I was told that they didn't have a room with a Queen/ King size bed available by then. The room had two single couches, a tea table next to the beds. The Bathroom was very spacious as well. They had a wardrobe and dressing table but Refrigerator and Safety locker were not there. The complimentary breakfast was decent but the small hall was just sufficient to make it a better dining experience. The staff were really helpful despite being under-staffed (Pongal season). I really liked the complementary dinner that they served with Chicken liver fry, Egg masala, Veg fried rice, Live counter to serve omelette and dosas along with a sweet (kheer) and ice-cream. They even supplied a Phillips steam iron box when asked for. Overall was very satisfied with my stay there."
