Presumably a battlefield once and later owned by an affluent landlord who still has a mango garden here, Bangalore’s Vidyaranyapura is today a composite locality with multiple sub-blocks and layouts. Situated in the northern part of the city, this township is home to some prominent personalities like former Indian cricketer, Sreesanth and Padma Bhushan awardee and former Indian scientist, Nambi Narayanan.
Vidyaranyapura enjoys proximity to government-sector factories, such as Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) and Hindustan Machine Tools (HMT). Many premier higher education and research institutions are also located close by, including University of Agricultural Sciences and Indian Institute of Science. A highlight of staying at Vidyaranyapura hotels is the greenery, beautiful lakes and rich biodiversity in the area.
There are a few stores near hotels in Vidyaranyapura, such as Shopping City and RR Plaza where one can find readymade garments and other essentials. Lulu Centre (2.3 km), AFWWA Shopping Complex (3.6 km) and Yelahanka New Town Shopping Complex (4.5 km) are other nearby options. Those who wish to explore popular malls in Bangalore like Mantri Square and Elements will have to take at least a 30-minute drive. Vidyaranyapura Main Road is lined with many restaurants in Bangalore serving a variety of food and drinks. Majaa Thindi, Beijing Bites, Goli, Sweet Truth, Donne Biryani Mane, Cheta’s Kitchen, Firangi Bake, The Good Bowl, Rigan Hyderabadi Bawarchi, Behrouz Biryani, Ovenstory Pizza and Faasos are a few of the best options.
Sri Kalika Durga Parameshwari Temple in Vidyaranyapura is one of the city’s finest Hindu shrines and definitely a must-visit places in Bangalore. Another magnificent ancient shrine near hotels in Vidyaranyapura, Bangalore is Sree Veerabhadraswamy Temple. Other popular tourist attractions located about a 30-minute drive away from the locality are Lumbini Gardens, ISKCON Temple, Bangalore Palace, Hebbal Lake Park, Cubbon Park, St. Mary’s Basilica and Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium.
Vidyaranyapura is well-connected to different localities, transit hubs and major landmarks across the city by BMTC buses. App-based taxis and auto rickshaws are the popular transport means to directly reach any of the hotels in Bangalore including the ones in Vidyaranyapura. Bangalore’s air gateway, Kempegowda International Airport, is located 30 km from the area, and the major railheads – Bangalore City and Yesvantpur – are around 16 km and 8 km respectively. Majestic Bus Station (KSRTC Bus Stand) is at a distance of 17 km. The nearest metro station to Vidyaranyapura is Peenya Industry (on the Green Line of Namma Metro), about 8 km away.
Property was well maintained. Rooms were clean and also the bedsheets, pillow covers everything were clean. Had ordered food from the cafeteria section and it tasted good as well.
I had a fantastic stay at Pavithra Edition The staff ( Sujith and team ) was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring a smooth check-in and a comfortable experience throughout. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, making for a restful night’s sleep.
Per policy check-in time is 12PM. I went by 3pm, room was not ready. Was made to wait for 15 mins to clean . I had originally booked in SN Residency but was cancelled by hotel after paying advance amount of ₹939. Proof of payment and later was assigned to Pavithra editions which is 6km from the marriage hall. I had paid close ₹1000 for ac alone
The room was good and clean. But there's no restaurant nearby to have a good meal. You have to take an auto and go over a km to have breakfast. Definitely not going to book this place again just bcz of this reason
Well there's a clear communication gap between the front desk and the staff, first I thought it was just a language barrier but it wasn't. I asked for towels three days in a row and didn't get it. Apart from this it was a comfortable stay, the staff was friendly, the food was fine and the room was cleaned right before us.
Hotel ambiance good Rooms are good Food complementary but not good Bathroom needs bodyshampoo and hair dryer are not available in Bathrooms Look like normal lodge
Very disappointing experience. WIFI never worked in 3 days of stay. There are hardly any amminities. For this price tag breakfast was not included was surprise. You donot get a cup of tea as well without getting out of the property. So overall not a great experience.
There is any below one Star I can give. I asked service in the morning provided evening after lot for call . Iam not feeling well on bedsheet in Inch blood touch by mistake management intaragate me to pay londry expenses. I given key to receptionist to clean the room when I back after 6pm they're not clened after few call they come and cleaned.yhay are not provided free water have to pay one ltr free overall one of worst experience I had .i don't know the review. Pisa se sab milega
Unfortunately, the AC in my room was not functioning, making for an uncomfortable stay. Additionally, all the washroom taps were broken, which was extremely inconvenient.
Worst hotel i ever come across, when we went to check in, they are not attentive and people at the reception giving weird looks and smile looking at my wife, and the old guy from reception was so rude in talking and behaviour seems as if we are staying for free..he don't even bothered..after that I spoke to fab customer executive his also very rude and cut the call while talking...please guys think twice before booking and specially if u r going with ur family...all the below reviews are fake...they don't deserve the buisness...we walked out without staying...and they don't even coz they got their money
