Kathgodam is the nearest railway station to Nainital. This is about 36 km from the town. There are regular trains running from Kathgodam to cities like New Delhi, Agra, Lucknow, and Dehradun. You can take a taxi from Kathgodam Railway Station to Nainital. 

Road: 

Nainital is only connected via road to the other parts of the country. Buses are available in plenty from the nearby cities to the hill station. You can also book taxis to reach the place.
