The best thing about such places is that the variety of goods on offer is almost equally baffling as at malls, but the prices are comparably quite low. 1. Galleria Market, Gurgaon
Galleria Market is Gurgaon’s answer to Delhi’s iconic Khan Market; both are among the costliest in the country in terms of property renting rates. But, considering that it is one of the most visited markets in Gurgaon, it is safe to say that shopping here fits everyone’s budget. Galleria Market is more like an open-air mall, complete with cobbled streets, benches to sit and a large fountain in the centre. All that you hope to get at a mall, you can buy it here: home furnishings, apparel, stationery, fashion wear, makeup and cosmetics, gifts, trendy clothing and even spa massages. What else? The market also has numerous street food stalls, high-end restaurants and even microbreweries.

There several tailors here, in case you need your clothes altered. Now, for the biggest highlight of the market…food. The number of restaurants and food stalls make it a paradise for gourmands. Good news, people, you don’t have to travel all the way to Janpath or Sarojini Nagar markets in Delhi to get branded wear at throwaway rates, because you can get it all here at Gurgaon’s own Arjun Marg Market! Much like its Delhi counterparts, the market here is known for selling export surplus with or without minute defects. Even if there are defects in the clothes, those are aptly repaired by the shopkeepers. You can get men’s jackets and leather boots from ₹ 1500 onwards, while sweatshirts start at ₹ 650. Even stuff by luxury brands, such as Zara, Superdry and Burberry, can be bought for under ₹ 1500. What’s more? H&M track pants are available for merely ₹ 350. If you want to save more, hone your bargaining skills. BTW, do not leave without trying gol gappas, chaat and momos, and kebab rolls at Qureshi’s.

4. Sadar Bazaar, Gurgaon
If you want really cheap stuff and don’t mind walking on dusty roads and swimming through a sea of people, then Sadar Bazaar is the place to be. One of the oldest markets in Gurgaon, with some shops in operation since before Independence, it is a one-stop solution for all your shopping needs. From clothes and utensils to street food and fresh vegetables, everything is available here at rather low rates. Talking of pieces of attire, you can purchase jeans, suits, dresses, sarees and as per some sources, even tuxedos! Then, there are several jewellery stores you can browse for that little bit of bling. I could go on and on about the variety of things on offer here, but it would exceed my word limit for this blog.

Whether you want juttis, kurtas groceries or cosmetics, you can get it all at the tens of shops at the market. Don’t forget to try the savoury snacks at the iconic Om Sweets. Plus, you also have options like tandoori momo stalls, Pizza Hut and KFC here.
