The most awaited festival for the literati is here. Yes, we are talking about the ever fascinating Jaipur Literature Festival. Into its ninth season, Zee JLF is famed for bringing the best of writers, novelists, poets, critics, journalists, Man Booker Prize winners and Nobel laureates at one place. The fest is known for its vibrant and lively decorations, debates and discussions, interactive workshops and sessions, concerts and the crowd that it manages to gather from all across the world.

What’s in store for you at JLF 2016?

Expect the likes of Margaret Atwood, famed Canadian poet and novelist, India’s very own storyteller, Ruskin Bond, Avirook Sen, Stephen Altar, Molly Crabapple in conversation with William Dalrymple, acclaimed author and one of the founders of the fest and many such authors who charmed us time and again with their words countless times. No fest is complete without a few book launches. Certain launch to watch out for are:
- Paresh Maity: The World of Colours
- You can be Smarter and Wiser, and
- Indian Accent Restaurant Cookbook.
Any event brings along with it a flavor of the city it is organized in. Gorge on some lip smacking Jaipur snacks and meals that will be served in the lawns. Like last year, bloggers and photographers will get featured for their creativity. So all you writers, pick up your pen.
