Cricket has been a part of India’s culture for centuries and it is no surprise that it’s considered as a religion. Started off in the 18th century as a casual game it soon grabbed everyone’s attention and finally became an international sport. The first international cricket match in India was played in 1932 between India and England. Since then, India has hosted many international cricket matches and tournaments, including the Cricket World Cup. The country is now home to a total of 50 international cricket grounds out of which only 25 are active.
