One of the world’s most important events in the Indian automobile industry, Auto Expo is back in the National Capital Region (NCR) with its 2020 edition that will be held from 7th February (Friday) to 12th February (Wednesday) at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida. This year, the aim of the event is to create an alluring experience for visitors through new technologies and innovation in the auto industry.

About Auto Expo:
The Auto Expo was conceived in 1985 and the next year, its first edition was held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. It turned out to be a path-breaking event for the Indian automotive industry, displaying how it absorbed modern technologies and promoted indigenous R&D to adapt these new concepts for the conditions back home. With time, the event grew in popularity and by 2006, it had included new launches, concept vehicles, trade dialogues and overseas participation in its portfolio.
In 2008, Auto Expo earned the reputation of one of the world’s most premier auto shows following the Organisation Internationale des Constructeurs d’Automobiles (OICA) accreditation. Today, this platform is used by automobile majors and other exhibitors from across the globe for joint venture, brand promotion, corporate image development and much more. With an annual footfall of over a million, Auto Expo is one of India’s largest exhibitions and world’s major motor shows today.
The show is organised by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), Auto Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
